This year, UP AME is stepping out of the Bahay ng Alumni and holding the organization's 6th anime fair at A-Venue Hall, Makati on November 28, 2009.
Stepping into the bigger and better venue will take otakus back in time as they find themselves in a feudal era Japanese village. Patrons will be enjoying regular fair activities like the karaoke tournament, the fan art contest, plus the cosplay competition with a twist: the addition of a whole new feudal anime category apart from the usual individual and group.
However, keeping with this year's theme, there will be traditional Japanese music performances courtesy of the UP College of Music, as well as a Kingyo sukui (goldfish booth), sumou booth and other such traditional fare. The maid and butler cafe from past fairs will be coming back this year as the Tea Room, where guests will be seated on tatami mats as they enjoy delicious food, drinks, and the company of their servers dressed in traditional garb.
Tickets on the day of the fair shall be sold at 100 pesos each. PRE-SALE TICKETS ON THE OTHERHAND, FOR ONLY 90 PESOS =)
